Objective of the course: By the end of this course, students will be able to deal with the concept of equilibrium and acquire the knowledge of the concept of structural analysis with reference to statically determinate trusses, beams, and the properties of surfaces used in mechanics. |
Course Contents: General Principles. Force Vectors. Equilibrium of a Particle. Force System Resultants. Equilibrium of Rigid Body. Basic Structural Analysis. Internal Forces. Centre of Gravity and Centroid. Moment of Inertia. |
