2025 ERASMUS+ KA 131 LEARNING MOBILITY APPLICATIONS
Students who wish to study at contracted universities within the scope of Erasmus (+) Learning Mobility in the 2025-2026 academic year will apply ONLINE between 10 March 2025 and 27 March 2025 (until 16.00). The online application form will be active on March 10, 2025.
As of March 10, 2025, you can access the Erasmus Study Application screen through the My Applications Menu on http://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr after logging into the system with your turkiye.gov.tr (e-Devlet/e-Government) credentials.
The coordinator of the program in our country is the Directorate for EU Education and Youth Programs (National Agency). The information on our web page has been compiled from the “Handbook for Higher Education Institutions for the Period 2024”. Depending on the announcements from the National Agency, the information on our web page may be updated.
Important Notice on Grants
Dear Students
In its official letter dated 30.01.2025 addressed to higher education institutions, the Turkish National Agency stated that “the following statements must be used in the information, announcements, and contracts to be made with the participants regarding the Erasmus + Higher Education student and staff mobility selections for the 2025 contract year:
“The 2025 Contribution Agreement between Türkiye and the European Commission has not yet been signed. Therefore, as a result of your application within the scope of Erasmus+ student mobility, your selection for mobility with or without a grant does not constitute a vested right. Whether you will receive a grant or not or the amount of your grant will be finalized when the agreement to be signed with the European Commission and the subsequent grant allocation processes to be allocated to your university are finalized, and your university or the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for any material or immaterial losses that may arise from delays or disruptions in the said agreement processes.”
In our Institute, Erasmus participant candidates are selected before the grant amount to be allocated to our Institution is known.
This is done in order for our students to be able to go to the host institutions on time (to prepare the necessary documents, passport, visa procedures, etc.). Therefore, the National Agency (Center) is not responsible for the selection and its results.
The selected students are candidates. After the National Agency (Center) announces the results of the grant distribution, the candidate status will be removed after the finalization of the selection results and the signing of the student contract between our Institution and the students who are certain to participate in the mobility.
It will be possible to announce the grant distribution results to our students after the grant distribution results are announced by the Turkish National Agency to higher education institutions.
Therefore, it may not be clear whether our students are entitled to a grant when they start their mobility. It is also unclear how long this uncertainty will last. Accordingly, if the grant agreement has not yet been signed between the National Agency and our Institute, a zero-grant Erasmus contract will be signed with our selected participant candidates.
Until the grant agreement is signed between our Institute and the National Agency and the grant amount to which our Institute is entitled is transferred to our Institution, our participants will be required to “cover all financial consequences” themselves.

2025 Warning to Students who will apply for both Study and Traineeship Mobility in the Application Period
In the 2025 Application Period, if the student who will apply for both education and Traineeship activities has not benefited from mobility in previous years, 10 points will be deducted from the education or Traineeship success score according to the student’s preference (there is a question for this preference in the online application form).
In the 2025 Application Period, if the student applying for both study and Traineeship activities has benefited from mobility in previous years, “-20” points will be deducted from the type of mobility he / she has benefited from before, and “-10” points will be deducted from the second type of mobility he / she applies for.
In the 2025 Application Period, students who applied to the Study Mobility and Traineeship Mobility Program can cancel their study mobility applications by DELETING them from the system until 27 March 2025 at 16.00, the deadline for study mobility applications. Our students cannot cancel their study mobility applications from 27 March 2025, which is the deadline for study mobility applications, until the Final Study Placement Lists are announced. Students can only cancel their mobility applications after the Final Placement Lists are announced.
Students who apply to both programs are asked which program they prefer to deduct 10 points from during their applications and 10 points are deducted from one of the study or Traineeship mobility points according to the answer given by our students. Due to the above-mentioned situation, since our students will not be able to cancel their study mobility applications within the period from 27 March 2025, the deadline for study application, until the Final Study Placement Lists are announced, the 10-point deduction they declared in their applications will be applied. We would like to emphasize that our students who will apply for both study and Traineeship mobility should take this situation into consideration and if they are going to cancel their study application, they should DELETE their applications from the system until 27 March 2025 16.00 at the latest.
Double major students can only apply for mobility from one major in the same application period (March 10, 2025 – March 27, 2025).
After the Central English Examination is conducted by the SFL, the Erasmus Learning Scores of the students who apply are calculated and placement lists are created on a program basis, where students will be placed in the available quotas from the student with the highest total score to the student with the lowest total score. A primary and a reserve list is created in which students are ranked according to their Erasmus Learning Points. Placement Lists are announced on the website of the NIO. Placement results are sent to students’ IZTECH e-mail addresses at the same time. Our students have the right to object to the placement results. Students are required to submit their objections to the Office of International Relations in writing (sending an e-mail to erasmuskoordinator@iyte.edu.tr is sufficient) no later than 3 calendar days after the announcement of the Placement Results.
Student placements are made before the 2025 Erasmus + Higher Education Student Mobility Grant Agreement is signed between our Institute and the National Agency. For this reason, placed students are candidates to be ERASMUS STUDENTS at the universities we have contracted with in the 2025 Erasmus (+) Period as of the date of their placement. The removal of the candidate status of the students takes place with the signing of the Student Mobility Grant Agreement between our Institute and the National Agency. When the aforementioned contract is signed, the departure of the placed students with or without a grant becomes final. In case there are students who will not receive a grant, these students can also study abroad as Erasmus Students with 0 grants. All other rights of Erasmus Students with 0 grants are reserved. In addition, students who are guaranteed to receive a grant can voluntarily waive the financial support and study abroad as Erasmus Students with 0 grant.
The total amount of grant to be allocated to our Institution is finalized with the conditions that the Contribution Agreement for 2025 has been signed between Türkiye and the European Commission and the Student Mobility Grant Agreement has been signed between our Institute and the National Agency.
In case the total grant allocated to our institution is insufficient, the International Relations Office Coordination Board of our Institute will decide which of our placed students will be granted and for how long. Erasmus Learning Points of the students will be taken into consideration in determining the students who will receive grants.
Erasmus (+) Learning Mobility Grant Results are announced on the website of the IRO.
The granting results are sent to the IZTECH e-mail addresses of the students at the same time. Our students have the right to object to the granting results. Students are required to notify their objections to the International Relations Office in writing (it is sufficient to send an e-mail to erasmuskoordinator@iyte.edu.tr) no later than 3 calendar days after the announcement of the Granting Results.
