İzmir Institute of Technology welcomes visiting researchers and academicians who are affiliated with universities abroad to conduct research and academic activities.

In order to receive an official invitation, firstly you should contact the relevant academic department of your interest or the faculty member who can host you. You can check out IZTECH academic units at: https://en.iyte.edu.tr/academic/academic-units/

After receiving confirmation from your host, you should fill in the required documents and follow the steps described below. Please note that for visits planned for less than a month, after confirmation from the host, an official invitation letter would suffice. Please contact your host and copy International Office (mailto:io-academic@iyte.edu.tr) in your email to receive an official invitation letter. For visits planned for one to twelve months, your official admission as a visiting researcher requires following application documents to the hosting department.
