The BIOTIN Project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, and co-funded by TÜBİTAK and İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), continues to make significant progress in the field of biomedical technologies.
During 2024–2025, BIOTIN fellows actively contributed to leading scientific and innovation events, including BİLFEST and BIOEXPO, where they presented their research and engaged with academia, industry, and the wider public.
In addition, the project launched a comprehensive training series covering laboratory safety, patent application and writing, technology transfer, and design thinking. These activities aim to strengthen the skills of early-stage researchers and to foster an ecosystem that bridges scientific excellence with entrepreneurship and innovation.
Through its dynamic international network, BIOTIN continues to equip young researchers with the necessary expertise and collaborative opportunities to translate innovative ideas into impactful healthcare solutions.
