Two PhD students at IZTECH won the French Embassy 2023 Research Fellowship granted to eleven PhD students in Türkiye. Yaşar Kemal Recepoğlu, a research assistant and PhD student at the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Dilek Cansu Gürer, a PhD student at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, have received this prestigious scholarship. Within the scope of fellowship Gürer will pursue doctoral research in Dr. Daniel Gautheret’s laboratory at Paris-Saclay University, while Recepoğlu will pursue his doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eric Guibal at Institute Mines Telecom – Center des Materiaux des Mines d’Ales (C2MA) – Polymer Composite & Hybrids (PCH) Unit for 2 months. The Embassy scholarship covers life expenses and social security.
