Representatives of the J-MENA Program funded by the Government of Japan visit International Office

International Office hosted representatives who visited our Institute within the scope of promoting J-MENA (Japan Global Network Project for the Middle East and North Africa Region) funded by the Japanese government.

Accompanied by Hayat Gürdal, Instructor of Japanese language at the School of Foreign Languages, Satoko Serizawa, Academic Coordinator of the J-MENA Project at Kyushu University, Japan and Merve Dağ Al-Sharefeen, Academic Coordinator of the J-MENA Ankara Office were hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Eser Ökten, Rector’s Advisor on Internationalization and Lecturer Dr. Bengü Aydın Dikmen them at the International Office meeting hall. During the meeting, a presentation about Izmir Institute of Technology was made and ideas were exchanged about possible academic and research collaborations between Japanese universities within the scope of the J-MENA project.
