An academic and scientific cooperation agreement was signed between IZTECH Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and Istanbul Department of the German Archeological Institute (DAI).

With the agreement, it is aimed to carry out joint scientific research that will cover the determination of the properties and production technologies of historical building materials and the conservation of materials in the areas where the German Archaeological Institute conducts excavations in Turkey.
